Student Research
All students develop research skills in their courses from day one.
Undergraduate Student Research
Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ offers undergraduate students many opportunities to undertake academic research. Students refine their research skills once they have declared a Major course of study, with many departments offering research methodology courses along with senior thesis opportunities.
Other opportunities include working alongside a faculty member to conduct lab research, getting funding to present student research at a conference, making use of excellent library resources, and/or receiving a summer fellowship to tackle an independent research project. Undergraduate research experiences are marked by close mentoring relationships with faculty and programming designed to enhance research skills.
